RCIA stands for the Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults. It's the process through which unbaptized adults and older children are instructed in the teachings and practices of Catholicism and are given the opportunity to be initiated into the Catholic Church. It is also available to those adults who are baptized in a Christian faith but not yet fully initiated through first Eucharist and Confirmation.
To learn more about reception of the sacraments, we meet weekly on Wednesday evenings from 6:45PM to 8:15PM in the Church Hall, from September to June. Each week, a team of catechists offers a presentation about an aspect of the Catholic faith and holds a discussion. Each session is a safe place to discuss the faith and explore questions about Catholicism or religion and spirituality in general. All questions are welcome and honored.
