At this time we will also accept donations that are restricted exclusively for the heat pump projects. Checks for donations should be made out to  
              St. John Vianney Parish
Check memos should say “Efficiency and  environment,” which may be abbreviated as “E & E” or “Double E.” Since we are also accepting donations that are restricted exclusively for the heat pump projects, donations to go directly to the cost of heat pumps can have “heat pumps” written in the memo. This donation portal may also be used to make an immediate donation through credit card or checking account.
 
*Heat pump units, purchased and installed in the church
for church air conditioning (units provide alternate winter
heating options);  Additional heat pump units for the rectory; New
winterized windows for our parish-owned house at 150 Hinesburg Rd. (“the annex”) for continued residential use (for church
employees);  New walkway connecting the church main
entrance with the parish center main entrance; New walkway,
steps, and additional door to the southwest wheelchair entrance; Changeable LED display for Mass times to be shown on the front church sign; Wiring and outdoor horn speakers for church bells.

EFFICIENCY AND ENVIRONMENT (“E &E”) PROJECT UPDATES
As previously reported (1/21/24), $46,335 had been raised in the parish "E&E" Fund. Our total costs for church heat pumps was $25,000, leaving $21,335 on hand, as we look to the following goals: rectory heat pumps, better and new church sidewalks, LED changeable display for Mass times, and church bell systems. Rectory heat pumps are now under contract to be installed in late April, for a cost of $23,000. A pending grant application should supply the final funds for this project, and might (we pray) leave us with thousands of dollars to spare for sidewalk projects. Between now and June donations exclusive to these projects can be given.
