Walk with us?
This year's COTS Walk is just around the corner! Last year Team SJV had 13 walkers and we raised roughly $3000 to support COTS and help the homeless.
It's no secret that there is currently a housing crisis in Vermont and indeed, across the country. Every little bit helps, no matter how small or large the contribution.
So let's beat last year's record! Please consider joining us at the walk - there will be a group traversing the longer 3.5 mile route, and one doing the shorter 1 mile route; you pick which would be best for you. All you need to do is register for the St John Vianney Team, collect donations, and meet us at Battery Park on Sunday, May 4 before 2 PM for some great fellowship, exercise, and Ben & Jerry's ice cream. Everyone who walks with our team can receive an SJV T-shirt!
Walking is not your thing, or you have another commitment at that time? No worries! You can make a monetary donation directly to the St John Vianney Team page, or to one of the individual walkers.
To sign up to walk or to make a monetary donation, go to give.cotsonline.org/goto/sjvwalks25
And if you are not able to join us or make a donation, remember the power of prayer is mighty! We invite you to pray for all who are struggling with housing, for good weather, and for a successful walk.

On a rainy Sunday, May 5, 2024, thirteen (!) St John Vianney parishioners gathered to participate in the COTS Walk. Though we were damp and chilly, a good time was had by all.
Many thanks to everyone who contributed and made it possible for Fr Tim to walk with an EMPTY BACKPACK! Due to your generosity, we were able to raise roughly $3000 for COTS, in support of our unhoused brothers and sisters. God is good!
